אין אומרים "אב הרחמים" ו"צדקתך". רושמים על הלחם קודם ברכת המוציא, אבל נזהרים שלא לחתוך. גם בקידוש על הפת אומרין "סברי מרנן". בקשר ל"עתיד לבא" נאמר: "אבן מקיר תזעק וכפיס מעץ יעננה". עתה מחריש ה"דומם". אך יבא זמן בגילויים שבעתיד, והדומם יתחיל לדבר, לספר, ויתבע: אם תוך כדי הליכה לא הרהרו או שוחחו בדברי תורה - מדוע דרכו עליו?!

Hayom Yom (היום יום, “day by day”) is an anthology of Chassidic aphorisms and customs with one entry for every day of the Hebrew year. It was compiled in 1942 by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, at the instruction of his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe.
