אדמו"ר האמצעי ענה לר' הלל מפאריטש על שאלתו, אם יחזור חסידות גם בעיירות שאנשיהם אין להם מושג בחסידות: לדברי חסידות מאזינה הנשמה. וכתיב "ונוזלים מן לבנון" 'לבנון' - ל"ב [כנגד ל"ב נתיבות חכמה] נו"ן [כנגד נ' שערי בינה. והיינו:] חכמה ובינה שבנשמה. - וכאשר הנשמה מקשיבה 'נוזל ונוטף' הדבר בהארת הנשמה המחיה את הנוף, ומכך נוצר חיזוק ב"ועשה טוב" שברמ"ח מצוות-עשה וב"סור מרע" שבשס"ה מצוות-לא-תעשה.

Hayom Yom (היום יום, “day by day”) is an anthology of Chassidic aphorisms and customs with one entry for every day of the Hebrew year. It was compiled in 1942 by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, at the instruction of his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe.
