כל הקדוש בעם אלוקי אברהם ויסוד בית ישראל, בהעמדת דור ישרים וחינוכם, בכשרות האוכל, ואצילות טוהר קדושת השבת, מסר ונתן השם הנכבד והנורא על ידי נשי ישראל לשמרם ולעבדם. האשה אשר תמלא חובתה ותעודתה בחיי המשפחה, בהנהגת הבית ובחינוך על-פי התורה, עליה הכתוב אומר "חכמות נשים בנתה ביתה".

Hayom Yom (היום יום, “day by day”) is an anthology of Chassidic aphorisms and customs with one entry for every day of the Hebrew year. It was compiled in 1942 by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, at the instruction of his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe.
