בברכות הפטורה אומרים תמיד: נאמן ורחמן אתה, תושיע ותשמח. מקובל אצל זקני אנ"ש: ספר התניא הוא ליקוטי עצות מה שענה רבינו הגדול לאנ"ש על יחידות בשנות תק"מ-תק"ן. בקיץ תקנ"ב התחיל לסדר את ספר התניא בצורתו כמו שהוא עתה לפנינו. ה"צמח צדק" סיפר, אשר בר"ה הראשונה לחייו - שנת תק"ן - אמר רבינו הגדול דרוש 'משביעין אותו תהי צדיק כו'', והוא הוא שלשת פרקים הראשונים של ספר התניא.

Hayom Yom (היום יום, “day by day”) is an anthology of Chassidic aphorisms and customs with one entry for every day of the Hebrew year. It was compiled in 1942 by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, at the instruction of his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe.
