בחודש מרחשון תרי"ג קבע ה"צמח צדק", מלבד השיעורים האחרים, שיעור לימוד עם אאמו"ר [המהר"ש], בכל יום שתי שעות ומחצה. שתי שנים היה הלימוד: קבלה עם ביאורי חסידות. אחר זמן זה למד ספרי מחקר: הרס"ג, "מורה נבוכים", "עיקרים", "כוזרי" ועוד - ע"פ תורת החסידות.

Hayom Yom (היום יום, “day by day”) is an anthology of Chassidic aphorisms and customs with one entry for every day of the Hebrew year. It was compiled in 1942 by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, at the instruction of his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe.
