יום הולדת כ"ק אדמו"ר [הריי"צ] בשנת תר"ם. יום בו נתבשר - בשנת תרפ"ז - שהוא חפשי מגלותו אשר הגלה ["קאסטראמא"] - אחרי שהיה תפוס במאסר - על עבודתו בחיזוק התורה והיהדות. ממכתב כ"ק אדמו"ר [הריי"צ]: בשני ימי הגאולה י"ב וי"ג תמוז יתוועדו אנ"ש, בהתוועדות זו ידברו אנ"ש שי' איש את רעהו בשבת אחים בחיזוק קביעות שיעורי הלימוד, והנני שולח להם את ברכתי כי ישא ה' פניו אליהם בגשמיות ורוחניות.

Hayom Yom (היום יום, “day by day”) is an anthology of Chassidic aphorisms and customs with one entry for every day of the Hebrew year. It was compiled in 1942 by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, at the instruction of his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe.
