ברכת הדלקת הנרות: של יום הזכרון. שהחיינו. אין כופלין "לעילא" בקדיש, לבד מנעילה. לדוד גו' הארץ ומלואה גו' - קודם עלינו. בקידוש היום: תקעו, כי חק. ואין אומרים אלה מועדי ואתקינו. לתשליך: מנערים שולי הטלית קטן. 'יהי רצון' שעל התפוח - אחר הברכה וקודם האכילה. אוכלים ראש אייל, אבל אין אומרים 'יהי רצון' כי אם על התפוח.

Hayom Yom (היום יום, “day by day”) is an anthology of Chassidic aphorisms and customs with one entry for every day of the Hebrew year. It was compiled in 1942 by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, at the instruction of his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe.
