נסיעות הבעש"ט בתחילת ההתגלות שלו היו על-דבר שלשה ענינים: פדיון שבויים, חיזוק התורה ויראת שמים, התגלות פנימיות התורה. אדמו"ר האמצעי היה מבאר בזה: גליא שבתורה נקרא מים ואל מים - הולכים; פנימיות התורה נקרא אש ומהאש - נרתעים, לכן על המשפיע ללכת אל המקבל ולומר לו: אל תירא "כי ה' אלקיך אש אוכלה הוא".

Hayom Yom (היום יום, “day by day”) is an anthology of Chassidic aphorisms and customs with one entry for every day of the Hebrew year. It was compiled in 1942 by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, at the instruction of his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe.
