ביגיעה הגדולה ביותר, אי אפשר להרוויח "סענט" אחד יותר מאשר קבע הקב"ה - שכך וכך ירוויח פלוני. צריך לעשות כל שנחוץ, אך יש לזכור שכל העבודה אינה אלא "טפל", ברכת השם יתברך היא ה"עיקר", אותה מרוויחים כשמתנהגים כראוי ליהודי: תפלה בציבור, שמירת שבת בהידור, כשרות בהשגחה גדולה, חינוך הבנים אצל מלמדים יראי-שמים.

Hayom Yom (היום יום, “day by day”) is an anthology of Chassidic aphorisms and customs with one entry for every day of the Hebrew year. It was compiled in 1942 by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, at the instruction of his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe.
