בלבישת טלית קטן בבוקר בידים נקיות ובמקום שמותר לברך, מברכים "על מצות ציצית" - כיון שאין בטלית קטן שלנו שיעור עיטוף. אם אסור לברך, אזי קודם התפילה - אם אינו לובש טלית גדול - ימשמש בד' ציציותיו ויברך אז.
