אין קוראים בתורה בלילה. נושאים כפים בשחרית. אין נוהגים לפרוש טלית על ראשי העולים לחתן תורה או לחתן בראשית. גם העולה לתורה אומר חזק חזק ונתחזק. בשמחת תורה תק"מ אמר רבינו הזקן: "עץ חיים היא למחזיקים בה" - אלו בעלי השגה הלומדים תורה; "ותומכיה מאושר" - אלו בעלי עבודה העוסקים בתורה; "מאושר" - כדאיתא בזהר "אל תקרי מאושר אלא מראשו", דע"י עבודתם ממשיכים מראשו, היינו מפנימיות הא"ס ב"ה.

Hayom Yom (היום יום, “day by day”) is an anthology of Chassidic aphorisms and customs with one entry for every day of the Hebrew year. It was compiled in 1942 by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, at the instruction of his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe.
