[מנהג] אמירת תהילים האמור (בכל יום אחר התפלה) אין בזה שום הפרש בין בתי כנסיות של אנ"ש שי' או מתפללי נוסח אשכנז או נוסח פולין. ומצד אהבת ישראל... ובפרט לגודל הענין של אמירת תהלים בציבור וכוונתה הפנימית, הנוגע לכלל ישראל ממש בגשמיות, בבני חיי ומזונא, וברוחניות... עלינו להשתדל בכל מיני השתדלות אשר יוקבע בכל בית-הכנסת, מאיזה נוסח שיהיה.

Hayom Yom (היום יום, “day by day”) is an anthology of Chassidic aphorisms and customs with one entry for every day of the Hebrew year. It was compiled in 1942 by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, at the instruction of his father-in-law, the Previous Rebbe.
